Anybody see the "Headlines" on Jay Leno last night? Someone had sent in a headline from a local paper about the voter fraud in Appy. Leno started out by saying "In the small town of Appalachia, several town council members have been indicted in a voter fraud scandal"....then he holds up the newspaper clipping, which was highlighted with the part about the pork rind scandal. The crowd erupted with laughter. Jay said "Now which do I take, the money or the pork rinds?"

The Times-News has a front page article on the $400,000 that was sized in the raid as authorities continued the investigation into reports of gambling and corruption in southwest Virginia. Nothing like the voter fraud in Gate City and the [censored] Dog scandal two or three years ago in southwest Virginia.
